Wimpole Hall

Wimpole Hall is situated in the interior of Wimpole Estate, at only 22 miles from the Campsite. A country house located within the Parish of Wimpole, Cambridgeshire.

The house, built in 1640, has 3000 acres of parkland and farmland which are owned by the National Trust.

The Estate is regularly open to the public and is ideal for an afternoon tea in the park or a relaxing walk. You can explore inside the hall and marvel at the architecture of the house, including the spectacular Yellow Drawing Room and unusual plunge bath.

They also have a home farm, which makes for a fun day out. If staying active throughout your trip with us at Stroudhill, Wimpole Estate also holds fitness events throughout the year and the regular park run, ideal for those who love being outside.

A great rural, peaceful site and perfect setting to explore Cambridgeshire.   There is a lovely restaurant with excellent facilities on the site and we loved walking the dogs around the beautiful lake and tracks.  A very well kept site - we will visit again.

The campsite and its surroundings provided the perfect location for a breakaway, well worth a visit.
