Wimpole Hall

Wimpole Hall is situated in the interior of Wimpole Estate, at only 22 miles from the Campsite. A country house located within the Parish of Wimpole, Cambridgeshire.

The house, built in 1640, has 3000 acres of parkland and farmland which are owned by the National Trust.

The Estate is regularly open to the public and is ideal for an afternoon tea in the park or a relaxing walk. You can explore inside the hall and marvel at the architecture of the house, including the spectacular Yellow Drawing Room and unusual plunge bath.

They also have a home farm, which makes for a fun day out. If staying active throughout your trip with us at Stroudhill, Wimpole Estate also holds fitness events throughout the year and the regular park run, ideal for those who love being outside.

We just wanted to say what an excellent few days we had with you. I was blown away by all the facilities you had and how everything was Covid secure. We will definitely be back. Thank you

We just wanted to thank you for a very peaceful and beautiful stay from last Saturday to today. We had a truly restful week, enjoyed our takeaway food from The Barn and the Afternoon Tea. Walking around the site was lovely and our dog Smurf enjoyed it so much he developed a stubborn streak, refusing to walk as soon as he saw a person or dog. He’s definitely a sociable dog who loves interaction! The fishing was great too, even with the rain showers. This was our first visit, but won’t be our last, thank you again.
